Poetry and science offer different ways of looking at the world. Both want to explain this world to us – with poetic or scientific means, but always in the medium of language. In a cross-border project, the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Lyrik Kabinett bring outstanding poets and scientists – including Büchner and Leibniz Prize winners – together over four evenings to discuss these questions. They talk about the senses, plants and animals, about music and explain the sky.
