The individual at the center of political decisions
Liberal democracies are committed to the majority principle. At the same time, an increasing individualization of living conditions has been observed for several decades. How can the interests of the individual be sufficiently taken into account in political decisions without undermining the democratic principle? This issue explores this question from a historical and legal perspective.
